Bryan G. Schneider, Esq. is a 1995 graduate of SUNY Binghamton and a 1998 graduate of Albany Law School. He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts throughout New York State. He is a litigator working on behalf of seriously injured accident victims. Prior to establishing his firm, Mr. Schneider worked at Basso & Associates, P.C. in the Hudson Valley for nearly 10 years handling catastrophic personal injury cases and complex litigation. One of his cases was featured in a Times Herald Record article. While at Basso Law, he made several television appearances discussing issues of the day including personal injury issues, internet piracy, insurance coverage, changes in DWI laws and nursing home negligence. Prior thereto, he worked at Cheriff & Fink, P.C. in Manhattan for three years focusing on personal injury and commercial cases throughout the five boroughs of New York City, Long Island and Hudson Valley. Mr. Schneider has successfully litigated cases in the United States District Courts, Appellate Division, Supreme Courts and local courts throughout New York State.
At 32 years of age, Mr. Schneider served as President of the 450 member Dutchess County Bar Association. He was responsible for addressing concerns from the bench, bar and public. He supervised the Association newsletter, budget drafting, CLE program, and emceed lunches, socials and other events. He served on the Executive Board as treasurer for two years prior thereto. He provided free legal assistance to the public at several clinics meant to reach those that were not be able to afford legal representation. He was part of a bar association president feature article in the New York Law Journal.
Mr. Schneider served as director then as Vice President of the Southern Ulster Chamber of Commerce. He introduced an ambassador program to encourage otherwise inactive members to make the most of their membership. He volunteered substantial time to help organize the Chamber’s 2011 golf tournament and personally raised over $10,000 in charitable contributions for the event and its beneficiary. He spoke at three high schools about the perils and consequences of drunk driving. He has also volunteered time performing mock job interviews for college and high school students and speaking with them about the competitive nature of the national and global job markets they will encounter.
Additionally, he served as President of a homeowners’ association and as President of a local BNI chapter. He also volunteered time as a youth soccer coach.
Bryan Schneider is also on the Board of Directors for Literacy Connections of the Hudson Valley, a charitable organization devoted to providing basic literacy education for adults and literacy support and enrichment for children. While in law school, Bryan volunteered as an ESL tutor having been trained by a similar organization for that purpose. It was a rewarding experience which complemented the fundamental importance Bryan attached to literacy and education in general. He is looking forward to contributing to this organization and those who benefit from its helpful programs.
Bryan is happily married with two sons.
